Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze

Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze
Brussels sprouts and red onion make a flavorful and nutritious combination that’s both hearty and health-boosting. When roasted or sautéed together, the caramelized red onions add a natural sweetness that perfectly balances the slightly nutty and earthy flavour of Brussels sprouts. Nutritionally, Brussels sprouts are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin K, and folate, supporting immune health, blood clotting, and cell growth. They are also high in fiber and antioxidants, which aid digestion and help protect against chronic diseases. Red onions contribute additional antioxidants, particularly quercetin, which has anti-inflammatory properties and supports heart health. Together, this duo creates a colorful, nutrient-dense side dish that’s as beneficial for the body as it is delicious.
