Fire Cider
An immune boosting shot which will keep you healthy and energised through winter and the festive season. Ginger: Warming; supports immune function and circulation; antibacterial and antiviral.Horseradish root: Strongly warming; boosts circulation and immunity; decongestant and digestive support. Onion: Respiratory decongestant; rich in sulfur compounds that support immune health.Garlic bulb: Antiviral, antibacterial, and circulatory-stimulating.Orange: Bright, delicious, and high in vitamin C.Cayenne pepper: Warming; supports circulation, healthy inflammation response, immunity, and expectoration.
Equipment
- large Glass Jar with Lid
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Ginger
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Horseradish
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 Bulb Garlic
- 1 Orange sliced
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper/ chilli powder
- 250 ml Apple Cider Vinegar live
Instructions
- Assemble all the ingredients
- Place them in the jar
- Fill the jar with Apple Cider Vinegar
- Place in warm area and leave for approx 3 weeks and shake occasionally.
- Drain liquid from jar and bottle - store in the fridge
- Add honey or maple syrup to taste.
- Use a Tbsp daily to stay warm and healthy.
