    After a discussion on the effects of Cinnamon on blood sugar and cholesterol levels, I thought I would research for some solid evidence. The most relevant review I could find was from 2013 . In this review of 10 trials, a total of 542 patients were analysed. The conclusion drawn that “Based on currently available literature, cinnamon may have a beneficial effect on fasting plasma glucose, LDL-C, HDL-C, and triglyceride levels in patients with type 2 diabetes”.
